Rain!

Be still, sad heart,and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
                                       Longfellow

 Well it is still raining.It started yesterday afternoon, and has not let up.I think of those poor people in the West, they are freezing, and digging out from under all that snow.It is going to be a weird winter.
 I am having a hard time staying awake lately, which is quite a change for me. For those of you who do not understand this, I have Fibro, and spend most nights writing this blog. It is a better pain reliever, then anything else I have ever tried.I do not take any medication, so this seems to work for me, oh and many hot packs.
 I find myself falling asleep at 7pm now, then sleeping right through till 6 am. It is very nice, but makes the day harder, as I cannot sit on the computer with hot packs, I have to much on the farm to do. The pain is still there, it just seems to have switched. I hope it goes back from whence it came. I thought I missed sleep, but  I think this is worse.
 Enough complaining, I thought I would show you some shots I took the other day. I think they are beautiful shots. I just wonder why, anyone would do it this way.

  This is a lot of hay.It was placed on the sloping fields, on the south side of this farm house. I think, if I was going to use it for a windbreak, and take advantage of the insulation, I would have put it on the North side of the house. The South side has the sun, and  that is the part I would not want to block.  Maybe no one lives here, I will never know. The day I went here it was a very sunny day. These shots, do not give justice, to what I seen. It was a glorious site.

 I hear the rain pounding on the roof. It will be a very dark, dreary, day today. Foggy and wet. This should be a great day for going into the bush. I will put on my rain gear, then my polka dot rubber boots and look forward to walking through the mud.

I am looking forward to seeing what pics I can get today.Even in this, I still love the bush.
 I will then come to the house, keep the fire going with the wood I will bring in , make a pot of soup.Then maybe, a nap in my nice warm bed.

Later.
