The Pause! (On my mind).

" A tale so is life;
 not how long it is,
but how good it is,
is what matters."
              Seneca

  Sometimes in this hectic world we live in we forget to look at the things that are right in front of us.
 On a very busy day, running errands, I was driving by this park. I have driven by this park many times before, but have never pulled in. This time I did, not caring I was running late.
 I sat and watched these very trusting ducks walk to the water. They walked back and forth, back and  forth. They would go for a swim, then finally sat by this park bench and just relaxed. My presence did not deter them from getting some peace and quiet. In turn, I enjoyed my peace and quiet by watching them. Beneficial for all of us.

 Later.

  2. How often do we walk or drive by a spot so familiar to us, but had never taken the time to really experience what it had to offer?

    The quote above is so true -- a thoughtful post to start my day. Thank you!

  4. Nice view..you do need sometime to take a break. Some people have coffe-breaks. But you take the most natural gift, we forget we have..that is to spend time with Mother Nature.

  8. Ah, Lake Ontario!! I believe? We were in Cobourg on Saturday, snowed the whole day long and was a terrible drive home. Visiting the 'outlaws'( inlaws, they call themselves that)
