Visions of The Escape! (Photo Friday)

“ To the vast majority of mankind
nothing is more agreeable than
to escape the need for mental exertion.
… To most people nothing is more troublesome
than the effort of thinking.”
                             James Bryce

I understand this need to escape

I also know many of you never get the chance

Your job, or even your mind, is keeping you chained

Be it in an office, in your home, on the road, or a tractor seat

I have 200 acres and still need to escape to somewhere different

No one is immune to this need

Since I was lucky enough to have a place to go

I thought I would share some views of my escape

Hopefully you will get away soon

But until you can I hope these will help.

I know they helped me. Enjoy.

  2. I do need an escape. I've been feeling it build for a few months now. I'm doing my best to be satisfied with a 'mini-escape' but I think in the end it's just a bad patch job. I love these photos, I love the water. Thanks so much for bringing me along. : )

    Happy Friday B!

  13. For me it is the idea of "forced thinking" such as when I go to work, I must think about work. Not the creative things I want to fill my mind with!!!
