Nothing Better! (Photo Friday)

         “True happiness… arises
        in the first place from the enjoyment of one’s self;
       and in the next,
       from the friendship and conversation
      of a few select companions.”

                 Joseph Addison

I was fortunate enough to spend the morning with a good friend. We have always gotten along well. We understand each other perfectly. We have the same interests; we share an abundant love, and respect for nature.
This is a glimpse of our morning. The bugs were out in full force, it looked like rain, our feet were wet, and we were enjoying every minute. There is nothing better in this world then spending time with a good friend, and Mother Nature.

I will be taking a break from blogger land for a little while. I really need to recharge my batteries. I hope to be back soon to share my thoughts. I will continue to read all your wonderful blogs. Take care. B

Wonderful wet woodsy photos. So nice that you have a friend who shares your love for nature and photography, especially with that kind of nature so close. Have a good break (after that closet clean out you need one ;). But hurry back!

Beautiful photos. I love the textures and the light off of the leaves. My favorite is the wild strawberry. I hope you enjoy your respite. You will be missed. Can't wait for your return.

It looks cold there! Brrr.

You should have asked for some guest bloggers while you are away, B. I would have been happy to help out. :)

See you when you are recharged.

Dear Buttons, thank you for this delightful post.
Kick back and enjoy the break - blogging is fun but it also takes up time and it's easy to put other things on the backburner isn't it. A little (R)est and (R)echarge from blogland allows other good things to surface.
See you when you return! Cheers :D)

It's raining here, so it's a nice surprise to get to join you on this nature walk and see all these fabulous photos. Hope the recharge is all that you need, and I'll look forward to your return, Buttons!!

Thanks for the walk in the woods. The part I enjoyed best was not swatting at all of the skeeters! They are ruthless this year with all of the rain we've had.

I will miss you during your break but totally understand. I'll keep you on my sidebar and 'see ya' when you get back.

Great outing but i am sad you hear your taking a little break! going to miss your sweet comments!

And i just wanted to say that there is absolutly no need to worry about your kids going to Holland. Yes Amsterdam isn't the safest place but there are still more good people then there are bad, and as long as you are well prepared, everything should be fine and they should have a wonderful vacation!

Thanks
Leontien

I just love the sounds of nature too. The woods give renewed energy and the smells of wet leaves and old wood is the best. Take care and recharge. Debi
