Recharging! (Fridays Fences)

Of all the amusements for the mind,
     From logic down to fishing,
There isn’t one that you can find
     So very cheap as “wishing.”

                John Godfrey Saxe

This is one of the most relaxing places to be. I come here to this beautiful spot quite often. I sit and listen to the water flowing over the rocks, watching the young people fish. Sometimes wishing I did not have to leave. Recharging as they say.

  8. I forgot to tell you how I love your “Buttons” name. My crafting blog which I have deserted in the past months for this one - I just couldn’t do two of them at the same time - is called Buttons for Baga. I collect buttons and my grandchildren call me Baga. Thanks for your visits to and comments on my blog. genie

  9. What a wonderful perspective you've chosen for this shot--and such a graceful fence. Is that a man-made or natural waterway? Beautiful either way and so peaceful.

  11. I love listening to running water...be it a fish pond, a stream in the woods, a rushing river or the ocean. There's just something relaxing, or "recharging" about it, as you said!

  17. There's something about running water that is very soothing and relaxing. You need those time outs to reflect and take time for yourself.

  19. What is it about flowing water that draws us so? Could it be that our souls know that life is a river?
