NOT Fridays Fences!

Happy they whose wall already rise.

                          Virgil

I was going to post for Fridays Fences and I will again as soon as I can get an internet service provider that meets my needs. It would not be fair to join in, and not participate. In the mean time I would love to show you this beautiful stone wall. Technically; not a fence, but a wall.
We are lucky enough to live on Limestone rock. This  makes for  beautiful limestone houses that last centuries, and it also makes for dramatic walls. Yes there is a beautiful Limestone house hiding in the bushes. You would have loved it. I am not into trespassing, but in the future you never know. It sure was tempting.
I am sure you cannot pass by a Limestone house, or a wall without oooohhhhing, and aaaahhhhing. I know I can't.

  8. I agree, stone walls are wonderful. Hard work to create but works of art when done. Best wishes on finding a suitable internet service. The world would not be the same without Button Posts!

  9. What a beautiful wall! It's a true art to get all those different-sized stone rectangles to fit together and come out level on top! Absolutely stunning :)

  13. B. missed your last post as I was down at mom's. I would much rather read your posts and never ever worry about commenting on mine. Speaking for myself..I would much rather read other people's blogs than post myself..lol..I was once on a timed thing and it was amazing how fast it went...when got off it said 23 minutes or something and I would think NO WAY!!!..lol..but it was true. Showed me how time does get away from us on the computer...not necessarily a good thing for any of us!
