A Helpless Feeling!

NEW UPDATE ON FERAL WOMAN'S SITE. She is physically OK. Thank Goodness.

I want to wish all my American friends a Happy Fourth of July.

I know you have a lot to be thankful for but I know things are very tough for many of you right now. Raging fires, the extreme heat and strange storms knocking out the power you desperately need, I cannot imagine what this must be like and my prayers are with you.

Our friend Feral Woman@ http://gowestferalwoman.blogspot.ca/  posted a heart wrenching post yesterday and I could feel her fear and helplessness, I myself feel totally helpless. All I could do was go about my day and pray that all of you going through these tragedies will be alright.

I spent the day driving around a field of hay baling with those thoughts of helplessness, my mind swirling and wondering what I could do. Nothing absolutely nothing. I am going to be praying and baling hay again today and hoping that is enough. Please be safe all of you going through these horrible uncontrollable things. Just know everyone is praying for you and you are not alone.

If you are reading this Feral Woman I do hope you are alright, and please know my thoughts and prayers are with you my friend. You are going to be Ok you are Feral Woman one of the strongest women I know. You are not alone; I am feeling so helpless and afraid for you. Be safe.

Hugs. B

  10. You are such a kind person. I will go and read Feral Woman's post right now. I read the other one where she said the fire was heading her way. I cannot imagine. Take good care, Buttons, and thank you for your good wishes for all of us in the U.S. I too feel so bad for everyone suffering so from fires, heat and storms.

  11. B,
The extreme weather conditions are causing so much damage. I just read "Go West Feral Woman" and can't imagine what she and her family are going through. Fire has reached the property of friends in Colorado, but I think they are still ok. Tragedy.

  12. I'm sitting here wondering with Feral Woman---why a fire that covers 244,000 acres is not national news.??? The Ash Creek fire must have really blown up with the hot winds that blew through here (SE Idaho) yesterday. What a horrific scenario our friend must have lived through. Nature sometimes shows little mercy. Worrying and praying for her and hers.
